Littleton Manufacturing Plant Catches Fire

Late morning on June 9, 2021, a heavy equipment manufacturer in Littleton, New Hampshire caught fire in the midst of the work-day. The 70,000 square foot facility was fully staffed and occupied at the time of the fire. Evacuation procedures were successful and no occupants were injured. One known firefighter suffered heat-related injuries but is expected to fully recover.

The fire set off four alarms due to the heat and humidity, which required additional response from the local fire department. Coverage from the New Hampshire Union Leader quotes Littleton Fire Chief Mike McQuillen stating that the fire was within just a few minutes of spreading throughout the entire building. He praised Rotobec for doing a great job following strong emergency procedures and evacuating the team quickly and providing vital information to him during the event.
